Admissions

The school is always pleased to receive enquiries from parents. The school encourages parents to visit the school with the child/student, by prior appointment, in order to familiarize themselves with our institution. Appointment days are every Tuesday and Thursday (except Public Holidays). School tours and discussions are held with the Admissions team in the exploratory trips.

Prospective parents may also approach the School by writing in to the email: register@npsinternational.edu.sg. All mails are responded to within three working days. Once you are convinced that ours is the right school for your child, please submit the required documents and follow procedures set out below to enable us to consider your children for admission.

  • For entry into Montessori or Nursery the child must have attained the age of 3 years by 31st March.
  • The admission process for below Grade 1 shall consist only of the triangular interaction between the student, parents and Principals or Head of School or Resident Director.
  • The following documents shall be submitted by the applicant’s parents:
    • Filled-up application form
    • Photocopy of passport, first and last page
    • Visa
    • Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Record (for children below 6 years old)
    • Recent 3 years Report Card (as applicable)
    • 1 passport-sized photograph, coloured
  • The Admissions Officer shall ascertain the age appropriateness of the applicant for the grade for which admission is sought. If the applicant is not age appropriate, the Admissions Officer shall inform the parents accordingly.
  • The admission process for K2 last term (Jan-Mar), Grades 1 and above shall include:
    • Entrance test in English and Math for Grades K2-5, English, Math and Logic & Reasoning for Grades 6 to 8, English, Math, Science and Logic & Reasoning for Grades 9 and 10 and subject tests for Grades 11 and 12.
    • Interaction between the Student, Parent and Principal or Head of School or Resident Director
    • The Entrance test papers and answer keys approved by the Academic staff shall be used.
    • Calculators shall not be permitted.
    • The Entrance test papers shall not follow a prescribed syllabus; they shall be diagnostic in nature
  • The Entrance test papers shall be marked by the Admissions Department referencing with the answer keys.
  • An evaluation will be carried out on the basis of the marks obtained in the tests and three years reports. Shortlisted candidates and parents shall be called for the triangular interaction.
  • The Resident Director or Head of School or Principals shall approve the selected candidates and grades.

You will be contacted within a fortnight, informing you whether your application has been successful. If your child is offered a place at the school and you wish to accept it, you must pay the first term fees and application fees, payable on admission, immediately. Failure to do so will render the seat being cancelled and being offered to the candidate next on the waiting list.

On being granted admission, the following forms will need to be filled in and signed by parents:

  1. Medical Agreement / Indemnity Bond
  2. Bus Form
  3. Student Contract (as stipulated by CPE)
