NPSI was founded in 2008, with dreams of providing excellent academic programs and a holistic environment to students from all around the world. In November 2018, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary with a charity dinner to reflect and commemorate a decade of dedicated service.
We demonstrated our continued commitment towards community service and development by donating $20,000 to the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) and the Singapore Children's Society.
Present at this celebration was Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Defence, Mayor of the South East District, and the guest of honour for the evening. His speech outlined the evolution of NPSI from a school for international students into a strong community partner, in line with an overall objective of a holistic, value-based and service-oriented environment.
The gathering was then addressed by Dr K P Gopalkrishna, the chairman of NPS Group of Schools, and Dr Matthew Sullivan, former NPSI Head of School. A panel discussion on the theme "Challenges and Perspectives of Building Tomorrow's Human Capital" was also held. This charity dinner was a wonderful opportunity to review our the past decade of growth, and to also take an opportunity to look forward as we forge our way bravely into the future.
