Our cricketers had an incredible 10-day adventure during the UK Cricket tour! Both our U-12 and U-16 teams displayed their immense talent, playing a grand total of 12 games each. Our teams put up some impressive performances against tough opponents, and it was a wonderful learning experience playing in English conditions.
We couldn't be prouder of our entire squad, and a special shoutout goes to the 5 amazing girls who fearlessly demonstrated their skills against the boys' teams. They truly stood out with their exceptional and courageous performances, breaking barriers and inspiring us all.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this tour a memorable success, and here's to more extraordinary adventures in the future! Your hard work and dedication have made us proud.
On the invitation of the High Commission of India in Singapore, some of our senior members of staff and Hindi language teachers attended an audience with the Indian Minister for Education, Skill development and Entrepreneurship Honourable Shri Dharmendra Pradhan during his official visit.
Recently, NPSI had the pleasure of hosting an enlightening online meeting with students from KCS International School Chennai, India in the IB Tamil programme. The event provided a unique opportunity for us to share our experiences, traditions and perspectives on celebrating festivals and the portrayal of the Tamil language. During the meeting, we engaged in discussions enthusiastically about our favourite Tamil literature and books, further deepening our appreciation for the richness of the language. Despite being from the same Tamil culture, it was fascinating to discover the subtle differences in the ways we celebrate festivals, making for thought-provoking conversations. This intercultural exchange fostered mutual understanding and promoted cultural diversity, leaving a great impact on all participants. It was heart-warming to witness the students' genuine interest and respect for each other's traditions and customs, showcasing the unity and shared love for Tamil culture.
The event not only strengthened our connection with the global Tamil community but also highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and collaboration in fostering global citizenship. It reminded us of the beauty of diversity and how it can enrich our lives.
